Calling All Thespians!

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, Cincinnati’s Stage for the Classics, is proud to present it’s extremely popular acting program, the Groundlings, at the West Chester Activity Center.  This drama and acting course, “Groundlings North” will provide students in grades nine to 12 with the opportunity to learn more about the art of theatre. Students will study classical performance techniques from a professional Shakespearean actor and teaching artist while studying Shakespeare and his texts. This 10-week acting-intensive program will include training in acting methods, improvisation, stage combat, text analysis, instruction in voice and movement and more. This class will culminate in a showcase performance in May. All skill levels are welcome.

When: 7-9:30 p.m. Sundays Feb. 26 (first class).  Then,  May 4,11,and 25, April 1,15,22,29, and May 6 (final class) with a May 13 final showcase at the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company's Theater in downtown Cincinnati.

 Cost: $375  (may be payable in 2 installments)
